Position Overview:
As a Python Developer at Alpha Research, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing AI and ML models for market making, blockchain analysis, and digital finance applications. You will collaborate with data scientists, researchers, and engineers to create robust algorithms and software solutions that enhance our financial strategies and technological capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI/ML Model Development: Design, develop, and implement machine learning and deep learning models for predictive analytics, market forecasting, and algorithmic trading.
- Data Analysis: Process and analyze large datasets from blockchain, crypto markets, and financial systems to derive actionable insights and build data-driven models.
- Algorithm Optimization: Optimize and fine-tune algorithms for performance and scalability in a high-frequency trading environment.
- Integration: Integrate AI and ML models into existing systems and platforms, ensuring seamless operation and functionality.
- Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, ML, and blockchain technology, and incorporate new techniques and methodologies into projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quantitative analysts, data scientists, and blockchain experts, to develop and deploy solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, algorithms, and model parameters, and ensure best practices are followed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python development with a strong focus on AI, ML, and Deep Learning, particularly in the context of financial markets and blockchain.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Market Making & Finance: Experience with market making strategies, crypto trading algorithms, and digital finance concepts.
- Blockchain & DeFi: Understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and crypto asset analysis.
- Data Management: Strong skills in handling and analyzing large datasets, with experience in data processing libraries like pandas and NumPy.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development practices.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on developing innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, particularly in deploying AI/ML models.
- Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with front-end technologies for developing user interfaces for data visualization (e.g., Dash, Flask).
- Quantitative Analysis: Background in quantitative finance or related fields with experience in statistical analysis and financial modeling.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Education and Experience:
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Python development and AI/ML applications within financial markets and blockchain.
